Github Test Coverage

New Github project finally provides a mechanism for measuring integration test coverage in browser side code

Measuring code coverage is a massively underutilised technique in independent testing, typically relegated to unit testing only.  It's trivial to measure code coverage in numerous manual and automated testing scenarios, however browser code is not normally possible.  This tool appears to start to make inroads into closing that gap.

This is a project I created in my spare time to measure selenium test coverage for web apps. As QA Engineer I currently write automated tests and I needed a tool that instruments javascript and html files. The tool needed to work well with selenium tests (open browser-click through app-close browser). There are some code and test coverage tools out there but those are mostly designed for unit tests and I needed one written specifically for QA Engineers that create automated tests."
